David is the licensed general contractor and qualifier behind every Midwood Homes project — meaning his license, his reputation, and his standards are on the line from day one. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Planning from Appalachian State University, giving him a formal foundation in how projects are designed, estimated, permitted, and built that most contractors simply don't have. Before founding Midwood, he spent five years in restoration — managing fire, water, and structural damage claims, earning certifications in water and fire & smoke damage restoration, and developing a precision-level approach to documentation, client communication, and project delivery under pressure. That background shapes how every Midwood project is run: clear expectations, detailed scopes, and no surprises. Since launching Midwood Homes in 2021, David has delivered 85+ residential projects — from high-end renovations and additions to ground-up single family homes — building on a career spanning hundreds of projects across Charlotte. He is on-site, not in an office.
