The Builder Behind the Work
David Castevens — Founder & Licensed GC
David holds a B.S. in Construction Management & Planning from Appalachian State University and brings 23+ years of hands-on residential construction experience to every project. Before founding Midwood, he spent five years in restoration — earning certifications in water and fire & smoke damage — developing the precision approach to scoping, documentation, and client communication that defines how Midwood operates today. Since launching Midwood Homes in 2021, he has delivered 85+ residential projects, building on a career spanning hundreds of builds across Charlotte. He is the NC licensed general contractor and qualifier on every project — his license and personal accountability attached to every build.
